I always wondered why people superbus  always complained that Gamestop was shafting gamers with its used game pricing...now that I've been in New Zealand for a while and exposed to gamestop's used game policy through it's subsidiary EB games and my verdict is this:

These guys are participating in what we call "highway robbery". There's no reason a store buys a game from a consumer for 10 bucks and then sells it for only 10% off a the price of a new copy. They're fleecing us good!

Which is why I wish everyone used this system that I found in a Saudi video game store called "Game Nation" (who me and my bros can always identify due to their copious use of Yoshi on their signs... Copyright infringement wat do?):

You take your game to the store, you give it to the employee and tell him "Sell this for X dollars". They display the game in their store and when it is sold, they give you a phone call. You go to store to receive money and they take a 10% cut for selling your game.



Seems great...right? Anything's better than what Gamestop have going on!
